Now, I still don't know all the benefits it brings, but ... I've already made contact with some of them
I found myself a new job. I'm delivering the newspapers to the one half of my village. Not really an intellectual challenge, I know, but then again not as easy as I'd supposed it to be (because I deliver 7 different sorts of papers to the subscribers, some of them don't get them daily, some only on saturdays, some on saturdays and mondays ...). I'm doing it per bike, which is good for the environment and for my personal fitness, but it is exhausting as well and it's also a big change in my individual habits. I have to get up at 3 a.m., the time I usually went to bed when I was in a writing mood or busy here at DA.
So far I was lucky and had no snow, very little frost and almost no rain on my tours. When I come home, I go back to bed, read a bit until my buttocks thaw and fall asleep again.
It is hard work, but it feels all right.
I've never really appreciated the people who did this for me all the time until now. It's always good to see things from another one's point of view, keeps your mind open
Take care, all of you
