Today I've seen the phenomenon of "sundogs" (parhelia) again and of course ran for my camera. I've merged two shots together with PhotoShop (really cool feature!), because I couldn't get both dogs on one photo.
The face in the sun was made by clouds, not by me, though. And it wasn't there when I started shooting. I didn't even see it when I took the photos (I was concentrating on the "dogs"). Looks a bit like the ink-drawing of Beethoven
Edit: The bright spots of light on the suns right and left are called parhelia. They can be found at the altitude of the sun, parallel to the horizon. Parhelia or sundogs are generated by plate-shaped hexagonal ice prisms. When falling undisturbed, the plates automatically orientate horizontally. The sunlight enters one face of the prism and exits the next but one.
