If you please, look at my stuff and read my stories and dont be afraid to tell me your thoughts. I only bite the ladies I love. And if you like then buy a print and support a Katrina victim

wow, really gorgeous sunset... this pic would just need a border to be absolutely perfect :)

Okay, if it makes you happy - I will. And if I ever learn how to handle with levels there will be borders, borders, borders all over the place :D

thank you, but... don't waste your time if you think it isn't worth the while.

levels? what are they useful for when making borders?
do you mean layers?
what software do you use for postprocessing?
i think that ps has some command to make borders... if you use the gimp it has a script-fu.
anyway, the flow is:
1) resize the image canvas by double the thickness of the border you want and center the image in it
2) create a new layer anc choose the border colour as background colour
3) bring the new layer below the image's layer and you're done
if you want a more complex border, say with a contour line or so, you'll have actually two borders if the contour line is just outside the pic, or three if it is somewhere in the middle of the "real" border.
let me know if it works...

Wow, that is so very lovely! It doesn't need any manipulation. :) Very nice work.
